This Thursday will feature two acts at Garrison – Shane Hopkinson from 6pm, and Dangermice from 7-9pm.
Dangermice and Shane Hopkinson return to Garrison this Friday night.
Formed in 2015 out of a mutual desire to write their own material, Dangermice is Angela Bristow-Baohm and Stewart McAllister. They’ve been playing in and around Albany ever since and are fresh from recent gigs in Denmark and Albany – Brave New Works,the Denmark Christmas Parade celebrations, Freehand Natural Wines and the Bootleg Sessions at 6 Degrees.Playing an eclectic range of songs by the likes of Billy Bragg, U2, David Bowie,The Black Keys, The Eurythmics, and Bruce Springsteen,as well as their own original tunes, Dangermice are an engaging and audience friendly multi-instrumental duo. With Guitar, Ukulele, Banjo and Tin Whistle and Kazoo they play a wide range of genres from gospel to folk to pop to foot stomping rhythm and blues.
The night’s music will be started by Shane Hopkinson, a young musician fast building a reputation for himself with his singing and acoustic guitar playing.
